Press Release

ATLANTIC TELECOM WINS NEW CONTRACT WITH STATE OF COLORADO

10/9/2007

Atlantic Telecom, a leading provider of maintenance services and hardware for Avaya telecommunications systems, has been chosen as the exclusive provider of maintenance services and hardware for the State of Colorado’s Department of Corrections (CDOC) Avaya® Definity® and VoIP® systems.

Eight bidders, including OEM Avaya and Avaya Business Partners competed for the system-wide contract, which covers all of the CDOC’s 17 locations, including its administrative sites and correctional facilities. Atlantic’s reputation, sensitivity to security issues, and nationwide technical support coupled with Atlantic’s no-penalty annual exit option and highly competitive "fixed pricing" provided the greatest flexibility, reliability and lowest fee of the eight competitors.

Atlantic will provide fixed pricing for the entire term of the five-year contract with annual no-penalty exit options. As part of the contract, Atlantic will provide a dedicated Service Advisor, free technical support from highly experienced Avaya-certified technicians and free on-site equipment spares to minimize down-time. Atlantic will also provide continuous 24/7/365 monitoring for major and minor alarms and the ability to clear up to 95% of all alarms remotely through its advanced Remote Monitoring and Testing Service (RMATS), staffed by tier III engineers.
